Our first goal is to provide well bred, healthy pugs to loving homes. We breed for the correct conformation set forth by the AKC standard and PDCA. We do not forget about health or temperament in assessment of our dogs. We intend to produce healthy well rounded puppies both for ourselves and for those who my purchase a companion puppy from us. We participate in conformation events with our pugs because we enjoy the sport and also it gives us the ability to compare our dogs to others. Without doing so we would not know how to proceed with our breedings, what opinion others have of our dogs etc. To ready our dogs for competition we attend weekly handling classes, puppy matches and then finally AKC sanctioned shows where they will be able to obtain points towards their championship.
Our puppies are raised in our home and handled daily. In addition to group play, we do our best to give each puppy individual attention away from the group and allow them to interact with our adult dogs. Our puppies are not ready for placement into their future homes until they are at least 9 weeks of age. The Pug is a breed that requires special attention and a responsible family to see to those needs.
